My name is Tomi and I’m a wife, mum, aspiring entrepreneur and writer. At the age of 25 I began to feel restless in my job. I was training to be an accountant, a job which I loved, and suddenly found myself in a position where I hated my job. Soon after, I quit to work for a charity, taking a significant pay cut but experiencing the most fulfilling time of my life.
It’s very important to me to be true to myself and do what matters to me and not live someone else’s life. I’ve grown to love me, exactly as I am, and that hasn’t always been the case. Discovering who I am has been the most liberating experience of my life.
I love spending time with my family
I love spending time on my own too
I love writing
I love baking
I love cooking and have a weakness for ginger, garlic, peppers, cardamom and red onion chutney. Go figure!
I love making a difference in the lives of others
I love encouraging women to overcome insecurities
I love reading; particularly trans cultural books
I love understanding what makes people tick
I love God
My family and friends call me WonderWoman (because I’m constantly on the go not just because I have super human powers 😉 ). This blog is about being me, my loves, what I’ve learnt from life’s experiences and unleashing the Wonder Woman within. I hope you like it and it encourages you to be bold enough to be you.
Tomi (pronounced Toe-me)
PS I recently moved to Cambridge, so you’ll hear a bit about that too. I love Cambridge!
